As more people call Idaho home, Idaho Smart Growth is pleased to present our 2009 Grow Smart award winners who are making sure we keep our communities vibrant and our landscapes healthy.  CONGRATULATIONS to the following winners:

Join us to meet the winners and celebrate at a reception on Thursday, November 12 from 5:00-7:15 pm in the Rose Room located in downtown Boise at 718 W. Idaho Street.  Appetizers and no-host bar will be provided and tickets are $15.  Anyone registering for the event at http://idahosmartgrowth.org/index.php/support/ by Wednesday, November 11 will have a name tag at the event.

This year’s program will feature a brief presentation on with Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg, an Assistant Professor at the University of Idaho, and Director of the Integrated Design Lab in Boise (IDL-Boise).  We will also have a panel discussion with Kevin and past award winners Anna Canning with the City of Meridian and local infill developer Jay Story.
